here is my grandbaby I didn't know that I could scan a picture on my blog until my best friend told me:) the baby is inside the darker circle that you see.he or she looks like a tad pole.

Baby update

Just wanted to let everyone know that Nicole had her first ultra sound and she is due on July 3 2008 my grandbaby is about 1 -1/2 inches long right now .I'm very excited!!! today ,I guess seeing the picture of the baby and having a due date makes it real.will keep you all posted as time goes on.

For all of you who read my blog I just wanted to let you all know that Dave and I are going to be a grammie and grampie in june Nicole is granting our wish the saying is true watch out for what you wish for because we have been wishing for a grandbaby and now we will be having one and i'm not ready!! like I thought I was but its coming and I;ll have to jump aboard or be left behind also Nicole and Dan want to get married before the baby comes so mark your calendar for feb 2 2008 invertations will be sent out in time.and yes another correction I need to make from my last blog when we went to new york we saw hairspray not rent I don't know were I got that from.

OUR NEWYORK CITY TRIP

Dave and I and our best friends Dan and Cheryl survived our trip to new york city we had a very interseting time we went to see the broadway show' rent "it had to of been the high light of the trip and it did rain on friday and it was very muggy but saturday was just right and also as you can see Dave had hurt his eye at work on thursday before our trip and wouldn't go to the hosptial and it got worse as the weekend went on but did get medical treatment when we got back and is healing fine.we covered a lot of ground by foot we went to china town,little italy,noho and soho ,greenwich village time square just to name a few .we all would love to go back again.

Correction

I have to make a correction from my last blog Dave and I are going to newyork city next weekend with our BEST FRIENDS!!!! Dan and Cheryl. can't wait:)

THE FRYEBURG FAIR

Well its that time of year the fryeburg fair Dave and I went yesturday with Nicole and her new boyfriend I forgot my camera so I have no pictures but we had a fun day. David and Cordell landed safely in florida yesturday they will be back on saturday. our next adventure is newyork city with our good friends Cheryl and Danny and then the boys are doing a trip up north bird hunting and then to the corn maze in north conway so we have a busy ,busy month which means house projects are on hold!! well I guess they will still be there in november. will up date soon with pictures.

these are some pictures from the polar caves and I guess I didn't get any from the castle in the clouds which way back that was consider a castle but compare to house now a days its just a small shack but was nice to tour it we had a great time !!we drove thur the kanacamagus highway stop at a few places but didn't do it all like we use to.

SUNDAY WITH FRIENDS

Sunday Dave and I spent a nice day with our friends Danny and Cheryl. we went to the rockland lobster festival and then went to boothbay harbor and walk around and had lunch.we had a very interesting ride down and back with Dave and Dannys conversations which i'm not sure about using the word conversation because the meaning says (a friendly and informal talk )hmmm.well anyways no matter what we do together we have a great time and always lasting memories.

On saturday we had a family cookout and it was perfect the whole family was there except for julia , ryan and chris .brit and mike came it made it a perfect day.we played ball even lola she loved it and we swam and some even got some sun.we all have one thing in common we love to eat!!!

Saturday night Nicole andI went to Cheryl's house and spent the night to help her out with Missy's baby shower which was on Sunday we had a fun time . we went in the pool ,had a drink!! but we also busted butt.I can always count on having a great time with Cheryl.

haven't blog for awhile so thought I would, well all has been pretty quiet around here I am on vacation next week can't wait for that, have no big plans for some of you guys who new my mom has been sick well she is home and doing well she found out that her cancer has not spread like the Doctor thought its only in her right lung which is still bad but better than what we thought she has had treatment and did not get sick but is losing her hair.well now on a happier note Cheryl is having her daughters baby shower on sunday and I am going down on saturday and spend the night to help with it all can't wait we always have so much fun!!!! well I guess for some of you I will be seeing you on August 4th for the family party .until I blog again talk to ya soon.

well the 4th has come and gone we all went to my sister-n-laws place up on munjoy hill and we had a cook out and walk down to cascobay lines and did a 3 hour tour came back ate again we seem to eat alot!!! and walk down to the promanard and got wet watching the fire works but we still had a good time being together.

CAMPING WEEKEND

camping , camping , camping !!!! we all had the best time ever this past weekend, Dave and I and David ,Cordell, Nicole ,Chad ,M ichele and Lily all went to Acres of Wildlife camp ground its got to be the best camp ground ever.the best time was around the camp fire which is my favorite thing also we rented canoes and fished went to happy hour at the cub pub listen to Nicole sing which was awsome of course.packing up wasn't bad and we all have talked about coming again. can't wait

HOME SWEET HOME

Dave and I made it home from our trip to Florida.we had a great time , we arrived in orlando on Saturday by the time we got to the baggage claim and waited for the shuttle to the rental car and Dave getting us lost to the hotel we finally got to the hotel at about dinner time,we unpacked and went to get dinner and then walk around OldTown which is a place were it has restaurants,bars,shops and entertainment,it looks like a old town and you can walk around there with drinks you didn't need to stay in the bars.Sunday we hung out at the pool and poolside bar for they were calling for servere thunderstorms and we didn't want to get stuck at a park when it happened.Monday we went to Magic Kingdom got no pictures because Dave forgot the camera!!I was so mad at him allday.we hit it just right there was no lines and if we did have to wait it was less then 20 minutes,we went to Eipcot on Tuesday that was our favorite place again no lines!!! we ended the evening there with a boat ride to Italy and had a cannoli and coffee.Wednesday we went to Holyland which is about Jesus and the holyland ect... it was interesting and I learned a few new things but it was also boring at the same time.Thursday we went to the west coast and beach hop and buy the time we were done we looked like Maine lobsters we didn't put sunblock on. on Friday we went to the east coast but had plenty of sunblock on we found the east coast was like our beaches here and the water was colder then on the west coast the best beach was Clearwater beach which was on the west coast it had the pure white sand very nice out of all the beaches we went to only 1 had shells on them.I don't want to see another all you can eat buffet for a long time thats all they have done there.all in all we had fun we got home Saturday night at 8:45pm to 5 very excited dogs who we miss sooooo much.but I have to say I love to travel but theres no place like home :)

VACATION

Well Dave and I are off to Florida for a little warm weather and sunshine hopefully.So everyone please say a little prayer for us!! love ya all

GRADUATION

Nicole had her CNA graduation last night she graduated with perfect attendance and honors she also sang "smile " we are all very proud of her, she also has a job at maine medical thanks to her dad!!!! she starts may 7th .

As you will see above my family ,theres my daughter Nicole who turned 20 today my son David whos 23 and his girlfriend Cordell who also turn 20 today, we also have 5 dogs ,yes I said 5 dogs check them out.

The frist entry.

This was a long weekend. We went out with Nicole and Shirley to celebrate thier birthday's. Shirley's was on Saturday and Nicole's was today. We went to Bugaboo Creek. On Sunday we went out for the day and laid around all evening because of the storm. Monday night David & Cordell came up because they lost power at thier house and we all drove down the road to check it out because they closed it down. The road was so bad. Their was water rushing over it and a huge peice had caved right in. The weather has been so ridiculous! Dave says, "If it wasn't for Global Warming the last snow storm that was 14' would have been 5ft." (Tell me that doesn't sound like Dave) Thursday was suppose to be Nicole's CNA graduation but they canceled because of the snow storm and now this. Hopefully they will still have her graduation this Thursday but who knows with the wonderful weather of Maine. Well I guess that is all for our very first entry. There will be many more to come.
